tamagringo (tamarindo) Costa Rica

I made it out of Nicaragua and into Costa Rica but not the best way.

When I was riding the hosterl shuttle to town I saw the bus leaving. I was told that they run hourly so I had about a 45 minute wait.

About 2 minutes later another bus shows up heading to Rivas, I confirm with the driver and think this is my lucky day.

What they did not mention is they take secondary roads, dirt roads some pretty bumpy.

when I get to the border I have to deal with Nicaragua and Costa Rica. When I get to Costa Rica entry I found out my passport and other peoples all have the date stamped wrong.

We all have to go back and get it fixed. The good news is at least I did not find out the problem later on the bus when police viatrd to check travel documents.

The last town and this one are both big surf towns.

I think the plan is to go to arenal and Puerto viejo in cvosta Rica after this and then panama city, sun blas isdlasnds? And boguete in Panama before moving on to South America. Passing on some places as this trip is not long enough to see everything.

A taxi driver tried to convince me to take a taxi to tamarindo. Thankfully I did not listen to him as not only ead it more expensive he told me I had to wait about 2 hours for the next bus. In reality it was about 30 minutes.

Hope to post more pictures soon but not sure when.
