It looks like I will soon need to make some firm plans. I will need to fly From panama to Columbia and to get the best airfare you need to book at least two weeks in advance so I need to commit to how much time I need for Nicaragua, Costa Rica and panama.
I went to get my sandals repaired again. In Guatemala a strap broke and now the shoe was separating. There are a few shoe repair guys on the street. The first guy quoted 200 c (25 c = $1) to stitch both sandals all the way around by hand. Since I was not a sure if that was a good price I told him I wanted a second opinion. He then said 150 c. I repeated myself and he said 100 c. I repeated myself and he said 80 c. I said if the price was fair I would be back. He then said 60 c and he was ready to let me walk so I figured I finally got a fair price and for 2.40 it was not worth getting a second quote. I was not trying to get a better price just a fair one.
