best roommate ever and ladies night out

It is one of my dormmates birthday and after last call he went to the room to make a fresca and 5 year old rum. In honor of gphis birthday I made him a Cuba libre.... Coke and 7 year old rum. His comment "you're the best roommate ever"

Another dormmate, a hairdresser from San Diego who is going to be moving to sf, could not find $30 us she had and could not withdraw enough money from the ATM so I helped her out. I bought some Costa Rican money from her for us dollars. Afterwards she found her $30 and said I was hgerbgood luck charm.

Ladies night is intersting here....free drinks all night for ladies. Not sure that is a good thing.

I would love to do some volunteer work but they usually want bat least a month commitment. Perhaps a future trip.

I am pretty sure I am off to Costa Rica tomorrow and then panama.
