He is late. Supposedly will be here at 9:20 now not 9. Glad I had them call. Hopefully I built in enough buffer time.

I have no cell phone and no internet and my home phone only works via internet. Voicemail for cell (and home?) Should work.

I think I will have a cell phone with a temporary number wed or th which I will use until my Asia trip. When I return from Asia I should be back on line (phones with old numbers and internet)

Last day in Latin america. I have just been relaxing in Lima and not doing much. I would mention that the weather has been a bit warm here but tend to think I would not get much sympathy,

Starting last night I decided to end the trip with some higher end meals. Last night was la mar, which also has a sister restaurant in SF.

I have wanted to add a lot more pictures but with the slower internet speeds I have not. Perhaps today?

My flight leaves around 12:30 am and the taxi picks me up at 9.

The trip has been great but looking forward to going home....and figuring out my future direction.

Paracas is an island known as the poor mans Galapagos. You only take a boat ride and since I have been to Galapagos I decided not to go.

Nasca lines are best seen by plane and I was concerned with motion sickness so no.

So next stop Lima. In was tryinbg to decide cwhen to leave ica/huacachina. Since there is not a lot to do here....mainly dune buggie ride/sandboarding and wine/pisco tasting, both of which I have done and since the hostel is a bit of a late night/early morning party hostel I was going to leave tomorrow but the only bus is at 7:30 pm. I was not sure I wanted to leave thast late and when I went back it was sold out so the decision was easdy. I leave Monday at 2.

I was thinking of some volunteering in lima but it is not easy to find opportunities that dont want you to pay to volunteer.
