It is a nice place but not much to do if you don't surf especially off season.
One of my SF friends told me to go to Noguis immediately for incredible cream pie. She has coconut, as she hates bananas, and me basnana since I ask not a coconut fan....closed for the season as was el pescadores, the ceviche place she likes. They also said that the giant turtles are not around yet.
I went to eat before leaving tamarindo and they were onlyb srtving breakfast i found out after i ordered. Later when I went back I found out that they had no fish so I ordered the chicken which was good, but not fisH.
the plan was to catch the bus at 1. After lunch I thought I had time to go in the pool and check email. On the way to the hostal I asked somebody what time it was and found out I had 7 minutes to get to the hostal check out and get back to the bus stop. I made it with 2 minutes to spare somehoiw,.
I left for arenal but i was unaware thast ineeded to take 4 buses. I was too late for the last one so I ask spending the night in Tilaran.
