Do not buy bus tickets in advance.
Since i knew I was going from el Salvador to Nicaragua, Nicaragua to Costa Rica and Costa Rica to Panama I bought one regular thicket and two open date tickets.
Now I am traveling further south in Nicaragua then planned and may not be able to even use the ticket to Costa Rica. I also found out i could have gotten a much less expensive ticket from costs Rica to Panama....boo.
In addition I thought I was staying in granada longer and bought groceries today. Now I may be leaving tomorrow...oops
