The good things are prices are usually lower and things are less crowded. The not so good thing is it has been raining more nights than not, though at least not in the morning usually.

Case in point today they predicted rain during the day. One if the reasons I came to xela was to see the hot springs, Fuentes Georgina's, and since I am probably leaving here tomorrow or Friday and the weather is predicted to be worse th and fr I went this morning.
Well, it was sunny in the morning. There were only about a half dozen people there and one of the locals was commenting how it is usually much more crowded. No sooner did he say that then a group of about 3 or 4 people showed up. They were all young attractive women, so I was not complaining. Then a bunch of other people showed up soon after... About 40.

It turns out I happened to be at the right place at the right time again. They are all beauty pageant contestants. Second country and second group of beauty contestants. I later heard that there was a beauty pageant. This was just a fun photo shoot. I won't bore you all with all of the pictures though I imagine some of you would not be bored. Is this a message of a new calling for me?

The hot springs were really relaxing... And hot. They had nice tranquil music and 3 pools, each with varying degrees of  heat

between them and within them.
