Even bus fare. Thefirst class rate to go from flores to San Juan LA Laguna went from 380 to 300 (exchange rate is about 7.5 to 1) the ac worked better than anticipated and I could have used long pants. Perhaps traveling on a Saturday night was not the best idea as the town seemed to be loosening up. I passed a bar on the way to the bus stop and they were beckoning me to come in.

After a great dinner last night, though they did not have their famous locally prepared and caught blanco fish, I took the overnight bus to San Juan la Laguna. We left at 8 pm and I arrived here around 12:30 pm

There were 2 Aussies I knew, another Aussie friend of a friend and 2 Israelis she had met.

I am thinking of staying here a while (at least a week) and taking Spanish lessons while living with a local family.

There is a volcano nearby we which is a 3 hr hike up and 2 down. I will probably do it as well as go kayaking. I am not sure what else
