I went to tikal this morning and we had a great time. We did not see as many different types of animals as we had hoped. We were lucky enough to see a Mayan ceremony taking place.
After we got back and I stayed on the island of flores to eat. While walking around it started to rainnso since I had my rain gear that I had been carrying around all day I chose to put it on. Immediately after I got it on the rain stopped. After I ate I immediately ran into my new friend peter, who is from Poland. He invited me to join him his daughter and their pizza hut waitress (long story) so I did.
I then picked up some more sandwich fixings and headed back to San Miguel peninsula and took a nice as lbeit cold shower. The pool water was warmer.
Tomorrow I will probably take an overnight train to San Pedro/lago de atlitan, then off to Antigua and then the next country el Salvador or Honduras
