post gone

I created a fairly lengthy blog post and it disappeared before getting published. The internet speeds are slow here. I was trying to upload 11 photos and it barely made it through one. I will try to recreate but the pictures will be a separate post a and there will probably not be 11.

I left Hopkins this afternoon and headed to placencia. It was about a 75 minute bus ride. Before I left I went swimming. The water temperature was perfect.

I am staying at Omar's and ate at Omar's also.

I like placencia much better than Hopkins. I am told, by somebody in placencia, that the nicest beaches in Belize are here.

the weather was nice when I got here though there was major thunder, lightning and rain briefly tonight.

I arrived here later than planned because for some reason one of my electronic devices was an hour early and the other one was an hour late so I missed the 11:30 bus and took the 2:30.  If I had known i would have averaged the time.

I may look into kayaking tomorrow since gary is not here, defending on the weather.

After placencia I will probably go to San Ignacio Belize which I'd in the mountains.
