Well to start the year the local ATM decided not only did I not need money but that they needed my ATM card more than I did. Thankfully I was not out of Peruvian currency and had american money and a back up ATM card from another bank back in Arequipa. Also happily we were back in the area the next day around noon (we left at 6 am before the banks opened) and I went to the bank and got my card back.
I am also happy to report I can count the number of remaining bus rides on 3 fingers. Unfortunately tonights trip is about 11 hours. The other 2 are much shorter.
Way behind on pictures including recent trips such as the floating islands in lake Titicaca.
